Seiya Suzuki (鈴木誠也) had amazing NPB career getting to 5 All-Star Games and winning 6 Golden Gloves and 6 NPB Best 9 awards! He had many suitors when he was posted by the Hiroshima Carp and ended up signing with the Chicago Cubs.
He was solid last year but was marred by injures. This year he had an injury and cooled off after a hit start to the season.
Since getting some time off to work on mechanical and mental adjustments he’s been on fire.🔥 Helping his team on a way to a playoff spot!
